This is a jay. You can see many birds around Towadako from April to June. But it is difficult to take photo of a bird.

This is wild fox. It's the first time I have seen so close. You can see wild fox or wild weasel while driving a car at night.

Bear's footprint in April.This size same human palm,but nail is long. I don't want to see the bear very much.

It is also bear's footprint. I thinking the bear played with the trail of the bonfire. After that she came up here.Because there was a mark of the bonfire near place. The bear is not afraid of the fire.

The countless small marks on the tree are all claw marks left by bears. There are both fresh claw marks and older ones.

This is the trace of mice searching for food under the snow. When the snow melts, you can see the activity of mice.

This is a toad. The size of frog is about 10 cm. This toad is seen around June.

This is a badger. It looks cute but it seems ferocious .

This is a tanuki. It resembles a badger, but it's a different animal.

Wild squirrel. You can see it around walnut trees in June or October.

This is small lizard. About 10 centimeter. No danger,they live in the grass.

This is Towada shrine's forest. Fireflies fly with light on the night of July. The photo can not be taken with my technique. So just a photo of the daytime forest.

If you are lucky you can also see the flying squirrel. They glide the top of the tree.

And you can also hear the frog's voice at the place where you cleanse your hands. It is a voice that can only be heard in June and July. All the customers think that it is the sound of a CD player, but it is the voice of a real frog. It is a small frog of only about 3 cm.
